Protect yourself, Protect your family, Protect your community

The COVID vaccine is our best way to safely place this pandemic behind us. Now vaccines are available for both children and adults.. Yet some people worry about the safety of the COVID vaccine. They are concerned about it being rushed or that people are being used as guinea pigs.

In the midst of all the fear and misinformation, it is hard to know who to trust. That is why the Tennessee Health Care Campaign launched our Vaccine Ambassador Program– Trusted voices, who care about us and our communities and who can talk to us about why and how the COVID vaccine has been proven safe and effective.

Brittany Dirl: ” My children really didn’t want to get the vaccine, but I felt that it was the best thing for them so that they could be protected. Being vaccinated and seeing that I am doing well, that I am protected, that nothing has happened to me, I think that makes people feel better, feel more secure about getting it done.”

Dr. Mechelle Taylor-Moragne: “The COVID vaccine is safe. It’s safe for me, safe for my family, and safe for the community…. The science and technology of the vaccine does not produce long-term effects.”

The message of our Ambassadors is clear. We have the power to end this pandemic. We can get vaccinated. The COVID vaccine is safe and effective. We are all essential. Let’s work together to protect our families and our communities.
