Join us! This year THCC is hosting our annual conference virtually! The 2020 THCC Conference Series is a 4-part series featuring topics on health equity, surprise billing, the impacts of underinsurance and the coverage gap, and the rural hospital closures across Tennessee. The theme for this year is Achieving Health Equity for All Tennesseans in an Era of Change.
Conference Goals
• Increase knowledge of state health disparities and how health policies impact Tennessee residents in both urban and rural areas.
• Examine strategies to address inequities in insurance coverage and surprise billing in Tennessee.
• Provide advocacy training and leadership development to Tennessee students and professionals to champion policies that promote better health and better health care.
• Provide training on effective advocacy strategies including relationship building with policymakers and advocacy training.
Our conference attracts 130-150 students, professionals, and concerned citizens who care about helping all Tennesseans gain affordable, high quality, and equitable access to healthcare. This is a time for us to learn about the advocacy work of partner organizations, the needs of the communities we serve, and to renew our commitment to collective impact. Like last year, we can connect our $1,000 sponsors to either a specific session or list as an overall conference sponsor. We have also revised our other sponsorship levels to add more value to the virtual conference series experience. Details of these sponsorship levels are below.
